Two Pana Residents Arrested For Arson

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Fire Marshal Office conducted a criminal investigation and have arrested 40-year-old Eric J. Klein and 39-year-old Leanna M. Grissom. Both Klein and Grissom are residents of Pana and they have been arrested for arson. 

 

According to information filed on April 17th by Christian County States' Attorney Mike Havera, both Klein and Grissom knowingly set fire to the home of John J. Klein on April 16th, 2020. The home is located at 2690 East 250 North Rd. in Pana. 

 

Klein and Grissom are both currently in custody at the Christian County Jail. Klein’s bond was set at $200,000 and Grissom’s was set at $30,000. Arson is a class two felony and is punishable by three to seven years in prison with fines not to exceed $25,000.
