Chris-Mont EMA Reporting No New Cases Of COVID-19

Christian County has seen no change in coronavirus cases from yesterday according to the Chris-Mont Emergency Management Agency, meaning they are still at 24 positive tests with 4 deaths. Montgomery County is reporting 9 positive tests and 1 death while Sangamon County has 52 positive tests and 3 deaths, Macon County reports 43 positive tests and 6 deaths, and Fayette County is reporting 12 positive tests and 1 death. Shelby County is reporting 4 positive tests and Moultrie is reporting 2 positive tests.  Sangamon County is also sharing that they have 26 recovered cases and Fayette is reporting 3 recovered cases.

The end date of April 19th for the quarantine of the Park Glen complex looms and it will be up to the health department on whether or not to extend. The residents will be alerted when a decision is made. While under the restrictions, all basic needs are being met including food and medical among others.

With the stimulus package being passed there is help on the way to many people that need it. Unfortunately, it also opens the door for scammers. The Chris-Mont EMA warns not to trust anyone who says they can get you money now.
