The following numbers have been released from Chris-Mont Emergency Management Agency concerning COVID-19. For Christian County there are 24 positive tests with 4 deaths. Montgomery County is reporting 9 positive tests and 1 death. Sangamon County is reporting 48 positive tests and 3 deaths, Macon County is reporting 43 positive tests and 3 deaths, and Fayette County is reporting 12 positive tests and 1 death. Shelby County is reporting 4 positive tests and Moultrie is reporting 2 positive tests.  Sangamon County is reporting 26 recovered cases and Fayette is reporting 3 recovered cases.

There is a rumor going around that only elderly people or people with pre-existing conditions are at risk when it comes to COVID-19. This just isn’t true. Older adults and people with medical conditions are at higher risk, but anyone can contract this virus. Anyone can get sick. Everyone should take precautions regardless of age. Continue to follow the Governor's Stay at home order through April 30th.
