Christian County Reports 4th COVID-19 Death

Christian County is hurting today after another death from COVID-19. The Chris-Mont Emergency Management Agency Director Greg Nimmo sent out a press release announcing that a person hospitalized has died from the coronavirus. The total number of deaths in Christian County is now at 4. 

 

In Christian County, there are 24 positive tests with 4 deaths, and in Montgomery County, there are 9 positive tests with 1 death. In Shelby County there have been 4 positives, Moultrie County is reporting 2 positives and Fayette County is reporting 11 positive tests with 1 death. In Sangamon County, there are 44 positives with 3 deaths and in Macon County, there are 42 positives with 3 deaths including 2 deaths from the Fair Havens Senior Living Long Term Care Facility.

 

Don’t forget that you can always visit an Emergency Room right now if you need to. Both Christian and Montgomery Emergency Rooms are fully operational and taking patients. With that being said, there will be additional screening questions for COVID-19 and a temperature check, but they are ready to handle any emergencies that you may have.
