Hope. That is the message from Governor Pritzker Thursday during his daily press conference. Over 45,000 people in the state have chosen to volunteer towards the fight against COVID-19, but Governor Pritzker had a simple message today and that was “Thank You.”
Governor Pritzker touted his All In Illinois program saying that in just one week, people from all across Illinois have reached nearly 3 million people on social media.
Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Illinois Director of Public Health announced 1,344 new cases of COVID-19 with 66 additional deaths. This brings the total to 16,422 cases overall with 528 deaths in 81 counties. Dr. Ezike also wanted to give a special thank you, thanking those in public health. This week marks National Public Health week.
