The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported that one of their part-time employees through Consolidated Correctional Food Service tested positive for COVID-19 and is receiving care. The food service is contracted to provide food services for the jail by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

The personnel and anyone else affected have been self-isolating at home. All food handlers are trained and certified in safe food handling procedures and have limited access to other employees of the Sheriff’s Office. The kitchen has been resanitized along with all serving and food preparation areas.

As always, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office continues to work to maintain the safety of inmates, staff, and contracted personnel.
