A Christian County 4-H Student has won a prestigious state award. Caleb Grover was recognized as a winner in the personal growth category for the Emerald Level Leadership Award. Caleb can choose either a $1,000 scholarship or a trip to National 4-H Congress in Atlanta. Sara Marten, Extension Educator for 4-H Youth Development says that leadership has played a big part in Caleb winning the award.
Marten says that Caleb is involved with all kinds of levels of 4-H and has gone above and beyond and that has led to him being recognized.
Despite threats of COVID-19, Marten says that 4-H is still going strong and there are still plenty of opportunities for students to get involved.
