Illinois State Trooper Mindy Carroll Talks About Child Abuse Prevention Month

Illinois State Trooper Mindy Carroll is the Central Region Public Information Officer for the Illinois State Police and she joined the NEWSTALK WTIM Morning Show to discuss Child Abuse Prevention Month. Trooper Carroll started out by discussing the history of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

 

 

Trooper Carroll went on to discuss how 680,000 were victims of child abuse and neglect in 2019.

 

 

Finally, Trooper Carroll talked about how we are all in a difficult time, but we need to come together as a community to help protect those who can’t protect themselves.
