Governor Pritzker Asks For More PPE For The State

The Governor of Illinois is making a plea for more Personal Protective Equipment or PPE. Governor JB Pritzker said, while some manufacturers have stepped up to provide Illinois with equipment, the State still needs more but the Governor insists that the State is making progress.

Governor Pritzker says that the State has not gotten nearly the amount of material they have wanted from the Federal Government.

Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of Public Health in Illinois announced that there are 236 new cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois with 3 new deaths in Cook County, 2 men in their 80s and 1 man in his 90s. Dr. Ezike again made a plea for more PPE. If you have it and you can spare it, please call the Governor’s Office.
