Christian County had its elections on Tuesday and NEWSTALK WTIM brought live coverage throughout the evening. In contested election results, Joe Biden took the Democratic nomination for president over Bernie Sanders 63%-27%. Betsy Dirksen Londrigan won 78%-21% for 13th District Representative. For the 13th District Delegate Democrats, Sue Scherer, Ellen Schanzle-Haskins, Chuck Napier, Mark Robert Maddock, and Ada Owens took the votes. With Sue Scherer leading with 14.19% of the votes. For the Democrat County Board 3rd District Member James Mike McClure won over Mark Passoni 51%-48%. 

For the Republican votes in Christian County, Donald Trump defeated Roque De La Fuente 98%-1.7%.  Peggy Hubbard defeated Mark C. Curran Jr. 37%-31% for Republican United States Senator. For the Republican County Board 1st District, Timothy J. Carlson and Leon Craig Corzine took the nomination 39% and 33% respectively. Under the Republican County Board 4th District Member Gene Price and Charles Smedley won with 34% and 27% of the vote defeating Becky Edwards and Mathew Heberling. David K. Overstreet won with 75% for Supreme Court Judge 5th Judicial District over John B. Barberis’ 24%. Katherine Ruocco defeated Mark M. Boie 55.85% to 44.15% for Appellate Court Judge 5th Judicial District.
