Governor Pritzker Urges Voting Despite Coronavirus Threats

Governor JB Pritzker urged Illinoisans to go out and vote on Tuesday at Monday’s press conference live from Springfield. The CDC announced its strictest policies as of yet with limiting gatherings to 50 people or under.

Despite the closings of multiple facilities throughout the State, Pritzker said the elections would continue as normal albeit with a little bit of extra cleaning.

Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of the Department of Public Health says that the amount of coronavirus patients has increased to 105.  New counties include Peoria and Will Counties.  Governor Pritzker continued to stress that just because it hasn’t reached your county doesn’t mean it won’t.
