The Christian County Jail is suspending all public inmate on-site visitation until further notice after Sunday. Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp says that in an effort to keep COVID-19 from spreading throughout the jail, after the Federal visitation on March 14th, visiting with inmates will only be allowed through the jailatm.com website.

Sheriff Kettelkamp says that established clergy visitation will still be allowed, but clergy will have to be screened prior to entering. Attorneys will also be screened as well. Sheriff Kettelkamp says that they continue to do what they can to keep the jail clean and the inmates safe.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office continues to monitor the situation and visitations will be reinstated as soon as it is safe to do so.
