COVID-19 has become quite a changing situation with new information coming every minute of the day, but helping to answer some information about the Coronavirus is Dr. Rick DelValle with HSHS Medical Group. As of this reporting, there has not been a case of COVID-19 reported to HSHS Medical Group. Unless someone has had prolonged, close contact with a person who has coronavirus, it is unlikely they will become infected. Dr. DelValle explains why they are calling COVID-19 is a pandemic.
Dr. DelValle says that the best thing you can do to prevent getting the virus is to wash your hands and to not visit areas that are heavily infected.
