Taylorville School Board Approves School Improvement Plans

The Taylorville School Board met this evening at the Administration Education Center in Taylorville to discuss old business, new business, give a strategic planning update, update the new technology distance grant, discuss the CMS Musical Instruments Grant, give an update on the new school resource officer, and approve the school improvement plans for Taylorville High School, North Elementary School, and Memorial School.

 

Superintendent Dr. Chris Dougherty started out by discussing the qualifications of the brand new School Resource Officer, Alan Mills.
 

 

Board President Stephen Turner went on to discuss the importance of the CMS Musical Instruments Grant and how it can help the music department moving forward.
 

 

Finally, Dr. Chris Dougherty talked about some of the different aspects of the school improvement plan.
 

 

The next school board meeting is on April 13th at 7pm at the Administration Education Center in Taylorville.
