State Announces Cannabis Sales From February

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has announced early numbers for adult cannabis use in February. Statewide totals indicate sales of $34,805,072.01. Dispensaries across the state sold over 831,600 items over the 29 day period. In-state totals to residents came out to $25,615,371. Out-of-state residents bought $9,189,701.01 as well. These figures do not include taxes that were collected. A portion of sales is invested back into communities that were hurt by the war on drugs. 

 

The Illinois Department of Agriculture continues to accept applications for cannabis infuser, craft grower, and transporter licenses. All applications must be submitted by March 16th. For more information visit the IDOA website.
