Names Released Of The Victims Of The Lincoln Plane Crash

The Illinois State Police have released the names of those victims that were killed in Tuesday’s plane crash on Interstate 55 in Lincoln. On Tuesday morning at 8:49, a 2013 Cessna 172 crashed on I-55 near Mile Marker 126. Killed in the crash was 22-year-old Mitchell W. Janssen of Princeville, 33-year-old Matthew R. Hanson of Pulaski, Wisconsin, and 30-year-old Kevin G. Chapman of Urbana. 

 

The airplane departed the Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington, Illinois on March 3rd, Normal traffic flow resumed at around 2:30 PM. Multiple agencies responded to the crash, and the Federal Aviation Administration is still investigating the incident.
