The Taylorville City Council will meet Monday evening at the Municipal Building in Taylorville at 7 PM. Under motions to approve include a Class O Liquor License for Family Video and a motion to approve the purchase of MultiSmart Controller for the Spillway Lift Station Omni Site Board.
Under committee reports, there will be ordinance discussions including; ordinance changes for Ordinance number 3558 and city code section 4-9-3. Both of those motions have to do with the Taylorville Fire Department. A motion to recommend City Council approve the purchase of one NFPA 58 edition book and workbook. That book has to do with liquified petroleum and national fire protection standards.
Under finance reports, the generator project will get bid on along with a reimbursement and the treasurer’s report. Under Street and Sewer reports, there will be a motion for approval of the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event on April 18th. There will be a motion to approve ordering a new Godwin Pump and approving MFT funds and the resolution for maintenance under the Illinois Highway Code.
There will also be payment of bills, an attorney report, and Mayor Bruce Barry will give his report as well.
