With the new changes to a former ICE law, undocumented immigrants are now being released from prison without notifications to ICE or to the Sheriff’s departments around the state. Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp spoke with Regional Radio News concerning the policy change and the hope of getting the message out to the public about what they can do to help.  Sheriff Kettelkamp said that he was blindsided by this change.

Sheriff Kettelkamp says it’s a public safety issue affecting all of Illinois.
