Diabetes has an impact on nearly everyone in the United States. Whether that mean someone diagnosed with diabetes themselves or they know someone that has diabetes.

For this reason Taylorville Memorial Hospital will be hosting a free kidney and diabetes screening in the Janice Hopper Auditorium this Thursday from 10 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon.

Erlenbush says diabetes can lead to kidney problems as well and for this reason they added the kidney screening as well to make sure that they are thorough in checking all who stop and get screened.
