The Taylorville Kiwanis Club and HSHS Medical Group in Taylorville, are partnering to collect school supplies for Taylorville elementary school students.
Specifically, the 2 groups are collecting boxes of tissue, such as Kleenexes or Puffs, and hand sanitizers, to be brought to the Kiwanis Club’s July 23rd and July 30th meetings.
These items can also be left at HSHS Medical Group’s offices on North Route 29 in Taylorville.
The effort was launched at Tuesday’s Taylorville Kiwanis Club meeting.
They’ll be distributed to teachers of elementary school students as they begin a new school year.
