The Christian County Fair held their annual ribbon cutting Tuesday morning. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 11 AM with members from the City of Taylorville, and Christian County attending as well.  Patty Hornbuckle, with the Taylorville Area Chamber of Commerce, helped with the festivities and 2018 Miss Christian County Aly Moore cut the ribbon officially opening the fair.  Aly Moore says that she is excited for this year’s fair and is looking forward to the pageant Tuesday evening.

The fair opens with culinary arts, textiles and fine arts, and a general show from the 4H club in the expo and wraps up on Saturday evening. For more information on the Christian County Fair, call 217-824-3100.
