The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Chillifest Committee held their monthly meeting at the Angelo's Pizza meeting room Monday night, as plans continue for the annual event on the Taylorville square October 5th and 6th.

C-E-O of the Chamber Patty Hornbuckle told Regional Radio News after the meeting, that committee members shared what each are doing in their specific area to improve the event.

Hornbuckle added that even though many Chillifest commmittee members have served for many years, it still takes a lot of work to make it happen.

Volunteers are what make the Greater Taylorville Chillifest happen.
