Taylorville Memorial Hospital held a hands-on healthcare session earlier this week in order to give high school and college students some ideas of what all goes on behind the scenes. The session was held on July 9th at 6 PM in the Janice Hopper Auditorium at TMH. Nurse Educator, Becky Erlenbush says that the session was broken into three different areas.
The Hands-On Healthcare session allowed people that wanted to go into Nursing a small taste to see if this is something they would want to do. Erlenbush says that most people come away with a good feeling about the program.
The next hands-on healthcare session will be this fall and will focus on therapy.
