Taylorville Kiwanis Review Efforts for Children, Youth During Business Meeting at Weekly Luncheon

The Taylorville Kiwanis Club held their monthly business meeting, at their weekly luncheon Tuesday at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium.

 

Kiwanis Club committee chairs gave reports on how each committee is fulfilling their goal of serving the children and youth in the Taylorville community.

 

Among reports heard, included announcing the upcoming program speakers.  July programs include on July 9th Lukas Schneider with the Taylorville Memorial Hospital "Stop the Bleed" Program; on July 16th Dwayne Wheeler, the new Taylorville Police Chief; and on July 23rd Chris Daugherty, the new Taylorville Unit Schools Superintendent. 

 

The Taylorville Kiwanis Club is part of global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.  Weekly meetings are held Tuesdays at noon at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium.  For information on the club, go to taylorvillekiwanis.com.
