The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on April 26th, Friday afternoon at 3:41.  Deputies report that a car driven by 33 year old William J. Kenter of Stonington approached a yield sign on 1950 North Road in Taylorville and did not see the car that was driven by 33 year old Andrew J. Callan of Stonington.  Kenter hit Callan’s vehicle which sent both cars into the ditch. Callan’s vehicle traveled about 60 feet after getting hit.  Kenter was given a citation.  Kenter did not have any injuries to report.  Callan was taken by EMS to Memorial Medical Center due to his injuries.
