Trees Forever Matches Donations To Taylorville Replanting Efforts

Trees Forever, a tree planting organization based in Iowa, is matching donations to help replant trees that were lost in the December 2018 tornado. Trees Forever is willing to match up to fifteen hundred dollars in donations for the replanting of trees in the area.  Field Coordinator Kevin Bennett tells Regional Radio News replanting trees is important to Taylorville.

Trees Forever does not have a timeline for when matching will end, but they are hoping to have new trees planted by this fall.

There are many ways to donate to Trees Forever including their website and Facebook.

Trees Forever has been replanting trees in Illinois and Iowa for thirty years.  All matching donations come from the Trees Forever, Granting a Better Tomorrow, endowment fund.
