The Illinois State Senate is coming at the halfway point for the spring session and have been hard at work for a budget since Governor Pritzker gave the budget address.
State Senator Andy Manar represents the 48th District of Illinois. He says it has been refreshing in Springfield since the most recent election as there is more bipartisanship than ever.
Manar says in the first half of the spring session the State Senate has gotten quite a bit done, even staying after hours to make sure things are done right.
Manar says with them being half way through the spring session in Springfield there is no time to rest, there is still a lot to accomplish.
Manar appeared as a guest on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show.
