30 year old Chad Johnson of Taylorville was official sentenced to 10 years in prison last week after pleading guilty to injuring his infant child in 2018. Johnson pleaded guilty to aggravated battery of a child according to Christian County State’s Attorney Mike Havera, he will be required to serve at least 85% of his sentence. Havera shares more information on the case.

Havera also shared how the two different sides were able to come to an agreement with the plea.

Johnson was sentenced on Thursday last week.
