Matt Blomquist, Taylorville High School Building Trades teacher has worked hard to bring back the once popular “building trades” class. 

Bloomquist says that re-created building trades class is a great way for students to gain a lot of hands on experience, and open up potential career paths.

After bringing the class back, Bloomquist has opened up multiple opportunities for students to take advantage of. For that, he has earned the Central Illinois Smiles Dentistry “Big Smile for the Community” for the Month of February.
