The Taylorville Kiwanis Club heard from a Taylorville physician about Alzheimer’s Disease, during their weekly luncheon Tuesday.
Dr. Pavi Gill's presentation was on "The Human Brain & Alzheimer's Disease." Dr. Gill talked about many different case studies and the results of these studies.
Dr. Gill added that the advancement in the study of the brain and its functions have been inconceivable.
The Taylorville Kiwanis Club is part of global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Weekly meetings are held Tuesdays at noon at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium. For information on the club, go to taylorvillekiwanis.com.
