On Saturday night residents of Christian County sat down at the American Legion in Stonington for the 10th annual Quarterback Club Fundraiser.

Taylorville Mayor Bruce Barry emceed the event he says the event has grown so big in its decade of existence that they decided to expand from just donating to the JFL.

Dinner was served by the Taylorville FFA to the 250 supporters that came out which was followed by the live auction. Barry says there are plenty of people to thank.

The big winner for the night was Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp as he won the grand prize at the end of the night, a check for 5,000 dollars.

In total over $9,000 were raised Saturday night at the 10th annual Quarterback Club Fundraiser.
