They Taylorville Fire Department responded to call at Manners Park on Friday of a dog that fell through the ice in the Park’s pond. Assistant Fire Chief Andy Goodall on how the team was able to secure the dog.

Goodall reports a scrape on the dog’s nose, and that the dog had no tags so animal control was contacted afterwards.

No firefighters were injured during the rescue as well.
