It is time to be in the holiday spirit as residents everywhere are looking forward to Christmas and New Years.

Danna Lewis with the U of I Extension Office says it is also time to start thinking about your spring garden and the necessary steps to take to ensure yours is the best in the neighborhood.

Lewis says three guest speakers are already lined up for the February event that will make sure you leave with the knowledge to grow a happy and healthy spring garden.

Lewis appeared as a guest on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show from the Metro Communications Building in downtown Sullivan.
