The MARC is designed to assist those recovery from the impact of the storms. Gayle Lundeen of the American Red Cross is managing the MARC being set up in Christian County.

Mobility manager with Centrall Illinois Public Transit, Nathan Nichols, would also like victims to know that they will be providing free transportation on Friday for the Red Cross.

All vehicles are also handicap accessible. The MARC will be located at Taylorville Christian Church. It will open this Friday morning from 11 to 7 in the evening, and again on Saturday from 8 in the morning until 1.
