On Tuesday night, the Taylorville Park District met to select the new playground that is to be installed in Manners Park. Recreation Director Bailey Hancock describes the playground that the board voted on.
The plan is to have the playground built, and ready for 2019. Hancock says they are already beginning work to take out the old one.
There is still a lot that needs to be done before the new park can be put in place, and Hancock shares what is next in the process.
The Taylorville Park District was originally shown 5 different bids for a new playground on their October 22nd meeting, they made their choice on Tuesday night.
