Plenty is going on in our city of Taylorville, with HSHS breaking ground in the TIF District, to the Business Development District growing as well. There are even some new restaurants coming to town.

Mayor Bruce Barry is excited to see all the growth the city is experiencing. He has seen a lot of work being put in on the square to open a new restaurant and now there are two more coming.

Barry is a big fan of Florinda’s and would recommend it to anyone he runs into, of course if you are craving a burger Bill’s Toastee is open 24/7 and can fill you up.
