STEM Lab Open House at THS a Success

Last night Taylorville High School opened its doors to the public for an open house at the STEM lab. This was to let the public know what exactly all this technology can do, and it did not disappoint.

Zamon Beck, a freshman at Taylorville Junior High, was responsible for presenting the Z space. He says this technology provides a great opportunity to help students learn.

The Director of Computer Services for the Taylorville School District is Chris Kuntzman. He was showing off the new virtual reality last night and says with the VR whoever is using it can do almost anything.

Taylorville High School Principal Matthew Hutchison was on hand as well. He was not surprised by the large turnout for the open house, and says getting this STEM lab really makes Taylorville schools come full circle as they teach programming as early as first grade.

Taylorville High School wants to thank everyone that came out to see the STEM lab at the open house last night.
