With the month of October getting closer, so is Chillifest. Taylorville Chamber of Commerce CEO Patty Hornbuckle says things are starting to get busy as Chillifest weekend approaches, but everything is starting to come together.

According to Hornbuckle however, there are still some logistics that need to be worked out before the weekend arrives.

Although there is no way to keep an exact number of people who attend Chillifest, Hornbuckle says that they are expecting a large turnout this year. She added that it will even have an economic impact on Taylorville.

Chillifest is scheduled for the first weekend in October.
