Rural Electric Cooperative Sends 4 to Assist in Hurricane Relief

Rural Electric Cooperative in Auburn is sending 4 employees to help with the Hurricane Florence relief in Dunn, North Carolina. The manager of operation and maintenance at Rural Electric Convenience Cooperative, Tim Hemberger, says that helping each other out is something that you do when you’re a part of the co-op family.

The four people that Rural Electric Cooperative are sending out to Dunn, North Carolina are just 4 of 80 total people from Illinois to join the relief.

Hemberger says that there is not an exact time until the 4 employees come back to Illinois. However, they’ll continue to help until the job is done.
