Taylorville Square is the place to be on Saturdays as the Farmers Market comes into town every week.
Ed Downs is with the Farmers Market, he wants to thank everyone who came out last Saturday during the heavy rains to try and participate in another Farmers Market. Downs says one vendor really went above and beyond by bringing a trailer with him to make sure paying customers could shop out of the rain.
Unfortunately due to the potential of lightning last weekend the Farmers Market had to cancel their Meet the Machines event last Saturday. Downs wants to assure residents that Meet the Machines has been rescheduled to the 29th, the last Farmers Market of the season.
The Christian County Farmers Market is every Saturday from 9 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon on the Taylorville Square.
