Once a year the Farmers Market on the Taylorville Square holds Meet the Machines at the Farmers Market. It is a great way to draw a lot of young people to the market to see the equipment. Due to the inclement weather the Farmers Market is being forced to cancel the Meet the Machines that was set to take place this weekend.
Ed Downs with the Farmers Market says this boils down to public safety. The good news is that Meet the Machines will be back on the schedule September 29th.
Downs wants residents to know that just because the Meet the Machines has been canceled does not mean that the Farmers Market will not go on.
The Christian County Farmers Market is every Saturday from 9 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon on the Taylorville Square.
