The Walnut Street Construction is now underway in Taylorville. The construction is going to tear out curbs, and sidewalks, to help restore the street. Richard Wiseman, Street and Sewer Superintendent, added more information on the project, including an approximate date of when it should be finished.
According to Wiseman, most of the project will be paid for using federal money.
Construction should conclude by May 2019.
