Governor Bruce Rauner recently vetoed two bills coming out of the State Treasurers Office

Illinois State Treasurer Mike Frerichs says the Rebate Card Bill being vetoed came as no surprise. Frerichs says he just wants to get the people the money that belongs to them.

Rauner also vetoed a bill that passed unanimously out of the house that would help over 1 million people save their own money for their retirement.
