This past weekend Springfield had historical buffs from all across the country flooding the Crowne Plaza for the American Political Items Collectors National Convention.

Steve Henry of CSH Investments was put in charge of the convention. He says on Saturday he worked the appraisal booth and saw plenty of great items brought in.

Henry says he even went into his own pockets and decided to make a purchase for his own collection.

Henry says multiple people came up to him to let him know that this was one of the greatest American Political Items Collectors National Conventions they had been at.

The American Political Items Collectors National Convention normally switches from east coast to west coast. The venue for next year has yet to be announced.
