Steak ‘n Shake is one step closer to making its way to Taylorville. On Friday, Steak ‘n Shake closed on the land purchase of Bangert Farms, meaning they now own the land for where they want to build. However, Steak ‘n Shake does not have the green light just yet, there are still a few more details waiting to be solved according to Mayor Barry.

According to what Mayor Barry was told, Steak ‘n Shake could come as soon as December, or early January.

If everything goes through, and Steak ‘n Shake does come to Taylorville, Mayor Barry thinks it will be good news for the city.

Although, the Steak ‘n Shake deal is not finalized yet, the city is one step closer to adding the restaurant.
