Last Saturday the Farmers Market was forced to move off the Taylorville Square due to an active shooter drill.
Ed Downs is with the Farmers Market, he says last week even with the heat and change in location was still a great success.
Downs believes that one of the reasons the Farmers Market was so successful last week was due to the Calhoun County Peaches debuting.
With Calhoun County Peaches debuting last week Downs wants residents to know that there is going to be another market item coming out for the first time this season this Saturday as well.
The Farmers Market will return to its regular spot on the Taylorville Square this Saturday from 9-1.
