On July 9th, the Taylorville Water Department is going to begin a six week construction project on East Main Cross Street. The construction is going to install a 10 inch water main which will cause East Main Cross to periodically close. The initial closure will have the street closed from Paw Paw to Shawnee, and the final closure will be from Shawnee to Cherokee. After the work is complete, the construction area will be overlaid. Taylorville Water Department apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause, and they hope to resolve those issues as best as possible.
