Central Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis recently sponsored a provision in a bill to make it easier for downstate Illinois to receive FEMA aid, but the U.S. Senate removed it from the bill.
Davis says for small communities that suffer disasters, the current FEMA funding formula is unfair.
Davis says it’s just partisan politics causing good policies to be cast aside in the Senate.
Davis appeared as a guest on the Newstalk WTIM Morning Show.
