The effort is devoted to boosting the states technology and protecting the state, the data it has and the citizens. Kirk Lonbom, the head of the Department of Innovation and Technology says that you can’t afford one slip up.
The program and how it’s been paid for has drawn the ire of Comptroller Susana Mendoza. She claims the cash for the IT program is coming out of a fund that should be dedicated to paying healthcare providers.
