 width=At a time when many high school journalism programs are being defunded, or are all together non-existent, Taylorville High School has a thriving curriculum.

 

Dr. Gregg Ferstenau, Superintendent of Taylorville Schools, tells Regional Radio that of the nearly 900 schools that participated in a recent national high school yearbook competition, THS was one of six schools that took home awards in the “newspaper” category.

THS took home two firsts, two seconds, one third and an “honorable mention” at the competition.
